I think the ringlands would take a dump before even hitting 12 psi.

Why are people so stupid? PSI is irrelevant. 20 psi in a T25 and 20 psi in a T3/T4 are two totally different things.

A stock B-series can hold around 300whp. Anyone who mentions psi does not know what they are talking about.

Most people use t3/t4s thats why i said 12 psi, Most of the kits that are out there come with a t3/t4, drag III and such. The surge on a t25 is going to be rediculous at 20 psi.

I'm not stupid I just didn't think about what I said you don't have to be a honda-tech bandwagoneer and call people idiots.

Some engines will last longer than others with that much power. Some will last some will not, there are a lot of factors into what it will hold. The real question is do you feel lucky punk, huh do ya.

well, as far as i know..and what ive heard of others experiences..on a stock B16A runnig a t3-t4 , usually is good to about 12 psi...which like the other guy said about 300whp...and yeah you can maybe get better #'s and up the boost a bit, but if its your DD..then its not going to last very long if you're driving on like 15 psi...

:sigh:

Are you being ******* serious...?

I wouldn't push a stock b16 past 225 whp and that still wouldn't be 100% reliable without a near perfect tune..

Yeah but what ever magazine this was knew they were eventually going to blow the motor they just wanted to see how much it could take. They fully tuned it as they were going and the reached 17psi before it blew and i was just wanting to read the article.

i run 10psi and am putting down 290's. deffinetly the max for it. i am getting blow-by after having it this way for about a year. But that just gives me a reason to build it and run more.
