Default Stock 1.5 non-vtec del sol question

I have a 1.5 non-vtec del sol, After some thought I've decided to stay with my stock engine and perhaps go with a turbo application or perhaps some wet NOS. After some searching I've had trouble a) identifying my specific engine model, and b) finding performance camshafts/intake manifolds that would help me get the most out of my little honda. I've found some JDM CAT. header exaust. Anyone have some sites/ebay auctions for cams that would work in my engine?

with the non-tech motor u have in there now its hard to make power without spending mad cash. its always good to start with a good powerplant, ur motors a d15 and it has somewhere around 109 hp (i think) with the money u plan on spending on that beast of urs y dont u just buy a d16z6 head(130hp) for $100 then turbo it down the road . i dont mean to throw u into a money pit but $800 on a turbo and head witch will give u 200hp with a good tune seems to be a better choice than investing $1000+ just to gain 50hp, but thats just my .02

Good point, but would that be all I need is the head swap, or would I have to swap the whole motor with a d series? Another question is, if I find a 5 speed tranny for a vtec motor, but my engine is non-vtec will it work?

swap the head... VTEC is your friend.

get an SI/EX transmission. they're the B000 labels.

than get a turbo. if you just boost first without those 2, i would say you're NOT going to be happy with the results.

I've found on ebay a head as follows... D16Z6 VTEC HEAD, What changes would I need to make on my 1.5 non-vtec block to fit this d16 head?
