still trying to fix idle problem!
so after cleaning my FITV and screwing it in almost completely, and cleaning my IACV my cars idle while the car is moving is still kinda high at 1200. after cleaning the FITV and screwing it in further, it doesnt idle high anymore while warming up, and it idles fine when its just sitting at about 500-800rpms. but when driving and taking it out of gear, the idle goes down then bounces back up to about 1000-1300 rpms. When i remove my IACV plug it kicks a check engine light and makes it idle at like 1600rpms. so i re-cleaned it and reset the ecu and theres no CEL but it still idles funny when taken out of gear. car is a 97 civic ex with a jdm b16a, changed over to obd2.

I have a 99 EX and am having pretty much the same prob. except for my rpm's are like 3k when its in park/neutral, and when it is put into drive it goes to about 1400-1500.
I hooked it up to a MAC TASKMASTER and it says theres some sensors messed up. I have already replaced the Throttle Position Sensor, but this didnt fix the problem, didnt help at all.
The TaskMaster didnt say theres a prob with my injectors BUT i noticed that one of them reads .01 msec and the other says .2-.32 msec Im going to look into this (only 2 read, i think the 2 of the injectors piggyback the other 2)
Does anyone know where i can find accepted values for the datastream for my car?

Good luck.
I replaced my IACV, took out and cleaned the TB, checked ignition timing, no codes, ran fuel injector cleaner twice, replaced air filter and plugs and fuel filter, cleaned the MAF, checked the battery, adjusted idle screw, replaced vacuum line, I AM STILL HAVING A LOW IDLE SPEED WHEN I STOP THE CAR< SPECIALLY WITH THE AC UNIT ON....go figure...

already checked vaccuum lines no leaks anywhere. could a dirty throttle body be causing this? because after i take off the IACV and clean it it runs good for a little then it ends up doing the same thing. what is the idle learn procedure?
