On my last thread i posted about how the car would die out.

well that seems to have stopped for now *knocks on wood*.

but i have been noticing a fluctuating idle. i have a 2000 si the car normally idles around 700-800rpms or so according my v-afc.

on several random occassions it drops into the 500-600rpm range-kind of stutters then goes back up. while this is occurring the lights will dim out.

in addition at random times while im accelerating it will also sputter out. i tightened the throttle cable since it was kind of loose...didnt do much-as expected.

this normally happens several times a day while driving-there has been no CEL thrown-so im kind of at a loss.

the car has 23000miles on it.

im planning on changing on the plugs and cleaning the filter within the week..but i doubt that will do anything.

Tanabe Racing Medallion Catback
Apexi V-AFC
Autometer A/F
Random suspension mods

I appreciate any offers of advice on how to fix this.
