Stiff clutch pedal
I have a 97 civic lx and the clutch pedal is extremely stiff. The clutch engages fine but it takes a lot to push the pedal down. I am assuming that this is either a worn/old pressure plate or a that the fliud needs to be replaced. Anyone have anu more ideas? TIA

Re: Stiff clutch pedal (3_South)
Actually a loose pedal and an engagement point near the top of the pedal indicates a worn clutch. Did you buy your car used? Sounds like you got an aftermarket clutch
