Sticky tires for SI wheels
Need new tires for my SI. Looked on tire rack and all that but i have no clue. What size would be best, i know i need 15". I want some very sticky tires, i remember reading about yokohoma advan rt615 or something, i might have said it wrong. Well my budget is a little below 400 for tires, i need some tires that are awesome on dry and still stick in the rain. And something that will be a comfortable ride on SI wheels. Thank you!

I think you mean Azenis RT615, and right now they are the number 1 tire.. for autocross

MX's are good. The Azenis will probably put you just over your budget while the Kuhmo's could keep you below $400. I sport the 711's (48/tire ), but when they wear out I'll find something else. I think you might get away with a 205 width on the 15" stock Si wheels. I'm not sure. Check the autocross forum.

I'm running BFG Sports, but all my buddies run the Yokohama AVS and no complaining from them. One of them even runs track times with his oh 15psi of air.

Yup, you can. I ran 205/50/15 on my meshes without problems.

I'm running the 205/50/15 and my car isnt even slammed its just lowered on H&R Race springs (integra spec spring rates) and even I have passengers my tires will rub. But when I use to run 195's no problem.
