stick problem or linkage?

Default stick problem or linkage?

i have a lsvtec bubble...wit a gsr tranny and stage 4 6puck clutch...ok heres the problem i think>>>>the stick for shiftin is very loose and has mad play...you can slap it around and i dont think this is normal...is it a problem wit the linkage or somehthin else??when i put it in 1st gear and let go it seems to go back into the neutral poision but its still the in the gear...drives perfect but the stick is too loose....lemme know some tips...thanks alot

check the bolt's and bushings under the car by the shifter thats holds the back of the linkage

Also check the roll pin on the tranny side.
