Default Steering wheel still shakes at high speeds! Help!

Well I got my 4 wheel alignment, I got new rims and had those mounted and balanced properly. But now my steering wheel still shakes at the same speed as when i had my old rims on! Whats the deal, is the camber a problem or maybe my bushings are messed? Any ideas? thanks

I had the same problem with my car at high speeds. Even at 100kph it shook so bad that I didn't want to drive it that fast. Anyway, lucky for me it was just as easy as out with the coilovers and old rims, and in with the set springs and new rims and rubber. What kind of rubber are you running?

another possibility could be your balljoints or front wheel bearings being bad.

Mine turned out to be the axle.

I repalaced the drivers side axle...twice. Got a passenger side axle now and I'm hoping that will get rid of my vibration.

it could be your motor mounts.

the wheels are probably off balanced. take your car back and have them check it.

I bought some hubcentric rings and that fixed me up. Plus it was only $30.

yeah, i bent a 16 tsw on my old crx and it caused that vibration, also, make sure to double check all of the lug nuts and make sure they are torqued to the right specs. one of mine came loose one time and caused a very similar vibration...

I think that he said that he got new wheels and that they balanced out fine.
