Default steering wheel shaking

so couple days ago, i rotated my tires and now my steering wheel shakes at speeds from 20km/h +.

is it that i need to balance my tires or is there maybe something else?
or should i just rotate my tires again.

Okay i dunt mean to steal your post or anything but I have a similar problem, my steering wheel shakes irradically at speeds of 70-75-80mph. Feels like i'm driving over mountain stoned roads, and this happens on perfectly smooth freeways and interstates. Should i balance my tires??

yeah balancing the tires makes a big diff but also are these stock rims or aftermartket becauser most overmarket rims arnt hubcentric meaning there is space between the center of the rim and the center of the hub if this is the deal then all you need is to get hub rings go to discount tire they carry them hope that helps

If things were good before you rotated tires, why would rebalancing them be a cure?

Sounds like a lot of miles have accrued since the last time the tires were rotated and this may have wore a pattern into them which was fine for how the tires were but now that they have been rotated, things are not so great.

IF you didn't have the shaky wheel before, then rotate the tires back to their original location and take a test spin.

Shaking is most commonly attributed to balance issues, worn steering components (i.e. ball joints) and bad alignment.

Balance, steering components, axels, alignment, tire pressure, tire wear, etc. There are a lot of factors in steering wheel shake. Check all those and replace what needs to be and it will go away.
