Default Clutch Fluid Line

My metal clutch fluid line for my '94 Civic Si with a B18C1 swap (all going into my EF within the next two weeks) broke off when I tried to remove the clutch pedal assembly. I read on multiple sites and got diffrent answers but, which is better? OEM Metal line or a stainless mesh line?

I'm running a full stainless clutch line from mc to slave. No complaints. It's 1 piece.

The line in the engine bay broke when you were removing the pedal assembly inside the car? I am lost.

I am running a SS line (1 piece), no complaints.

cvcrcr99, I was removing the clutch pedal assembly and took the clutch master cylinder out from behind the firewall and the fluid line was connected but the rubber piece going to the transmission was broken and I pulled the master cylinder on the top where the line meets and it bent and broke... I was planning on getting a Goodridge line... I was just wondering which was better

A rubber/nylon/teflon/whatever coated stainless steel line. Make sure it's coated - that applies for ANY stainless steel line you might put in your car. You don't want debris getting in behind the braided steel and shredding your line to bits, especially not a pressurized hydraulic line like your clutch or brakes. That especially applies for SS lines, because you can't see any damage to the line until it's too late.
