Steering Wheel questions
Ok so im about to get an aftermarket wheel for my '00 EM1. had a few questions i was hoping y'all could help me with.
first off, the wheel is 290mm....is this going to pose a serious problem? i know most aftermarket wheels are between 330-360mm. is a 290mm going to be more of a pain in the *** than its worth?
secondly, the wheel has not been drilled yet. my friend bought it and didnt use it so hes selling it to me pretty cheap.
what would the process of drilling it to fit include? is it as simple as finding out the bolt pattern to the hub and drilling accordingly? im a bit confused. any help would be great. im trying to figure out if this is going to be worth my time.

Re: Steering Wheel questions (Mr. Vapor)
290 is real small dude, you sure you want it that small?
Yes, drilling is as easy as lining it up with the 6 holes in the hub. If its not perfectly straight with the wheels you can always get an alignment.
Not all hubs have the same spacing or bolt pattern. (most are 6 bolt but I have seen 5) You wanna decided before you drill what hub you will run.
MOMO/NRG/SAME or HKS/Nardi/Personal/SAME are very popular.
