recently i noticed that my steering column is lose.. i can literally push forward on the steering wheel and it will move a forward->backward motion.. there is also a slight difference when i turn the wheel when the car isnt moving.. what the hell is lose?? i recently installed my gsr motor and didnt put the power steering pump back onto my civic ex but i didnt think it would **** it up, would not having the belt pumping the fluid do this?? need some answers please.. maybe my hub is just lose from taking it out to the stip and dealing w/ wheelhop..

hello people.. why does a steering wheel get lose? did i **** up the p/s rack? or something else lose...

You may just want to check the joint that connects the column to the rack itself. It's underneath the black plastic boot underneath the dash. It's clipped on with round metal clips, and the joint has 2 10mm bolt on it that keep it in place.
