Default are steering columns from civic 92-2000 interchangable?

Thats prety much my question,
is the steering column from 92-2000 civics interchangeable?
Im looking to swap mine because is somehow got bent out of place when it was stolen. I have a 96 civic cx hatch.

get one from an EX or LX. Then you can have a tilt column. You can pull your lock cylinder out also and switch it...or leave it and fool potential thieves if they get ahold of a set of keys.

yeah the only thing different between both are where the switches actually bolt into the column. The places to bolt them are inverved/flipped between the two, if anyone is reading this i now have a steering column for a 94 ex with tilt for sale. 30 bux and i can install too if needed.

I'm sure there are other differences between the earlier (92-04) columns and the later (96-00) columns too. The biggest one that I know about is that the steering wheel splines are different, which makes it possible to put a Teg wheel in an EG but not an EK.
