soo 2 nights ago someone tried to steal my car they were unsuccesfull due to me catching them in the act but this is what i came out to, the metail ignition sleeve that mounts to the column can that just be replaced or what am i looking at i was hopeing for replacing just that assembly but i wasnt sure if it was able to be swapped out and if my local junkyard would have one.....and also car is a 99 si, would parts off an ex work? or is that one case specific on si. the ignitions assembly still works i was drove the car right after i found it and nothing was wrong so again i am hoping since nothing was destroyed besides that metal collar and still use my same key assembly and all that

In your case all ignition switches from 96-00, auto or manual will work. They're not model specific so if you look around for a manual and if you can't get one then just get an auto switch. You can take the tumbler out your switch and put it in the one you buy so you can keep the same key.
