Default steel braiding - dressing up engine bay

I'm replacing my radiator and hoses in my 97 Civic EX coupe. While I'm doing that, I thought I'd dress up the engine bay for kicks. That saying, can anyone recommend what to do? I was thinking of steel braiding the hoses. Maybe new radiator cap or radiator shroud? Do you know where to buy steel braided hoses (or the steel braiding), shroud, etc. Anyone have pictures of their engine compartment done?

Thanks in advance!

Joe

Rack up a few more posts and days of mebership and then visit the Appearance/Cosmetic section. A load of stuff there.

What kind of an answer's that? Anyway, I already checked that section even though I haven't racked up more time. Searches for "steel braiding," "braid," "steel," hoses," etc. didn't bring up anything. I did find a lot of "post a picture of your ride" topics and a load of stuff there as you stated, however.

That saying... does anyone else have constructive answers?

Thanks,
Joe

search "wire tuck" etc....depends on how far you want to go. but if you want to make your engine bay really clean, such as these: http://dut619.com/wiretuck/

then that is what you want to look at doing.

Detail the engine bay. Clean the hell out of it, paint rusted brackets, paint the heat sheild for the EM, wire wheel rusty bolts, hide some wires, armorall the hoses, make it look neat and clean. Clean up and paint your VC too if its not lookin so hot. Please, whatever you do just stay away from wire loom haha.

That was a constructive answer. This kind of question is not to be asked in tech. You're asking "how do I make my engine bay pretty" not "how do i make my motor fast" ......

Judging by all the posts here, this looked like a good fit to ask what to do with hoses when I replace the radiator. I don't think I saw many (if any!) "how do i make my motor fast" topics but mostly topics like "DIY: EG6 yellow fog light," "mystery engine problem," "Front end vibrates above 75mph..???," "del sol h.i.d. retrofit," "no heat........," etc.

It wasn't constructive, because the only thing I learned is that there are more smart-asses here than I expected. And if you think it's a good answer, then enlighten me with why I should "Rack up a few more posts and days of mebership and then visit the Appearance/Cosmetic section." Seems backwards, don't you think?

Enough of this pissing contest... just tell me where to get steel braiding for my radiator hoses for my beastly 97 Civic EX. I found some online, but I'd like personal experiences, if possible. Thanks to those who did reply, however.
