State Referee Certification
Hello everyone, I have a jdm d15b vtec with a p08 automatic ecu (but with a 5 speed tranny) on my 1993 civic cx hatchback civic everything works fine but im getting a check engine light being that its an auto ecu on manual tranny anywho...
I got pulled over for having an exaust, cop was being an *** and tells me to pop my hood, I have megan headers and catback exaust being that the headers dont have a carb leagal seal on them the cop says its illegal and gives me a modified emissions/modified exaust ticket and tells me i gotta go see the ref..
my question is .. will i pass ref? by putting stock header and exaust back on? also what if i use the cx ecu ? the cx ecu is for a 5 speed tranny but its usdm i havent put it on to see if it will work but ill try later on today and see if its throwing any codes
help is greatly needed, thanks.

Re: State Referee Certification (Straits514)
You should pass inspection by putting yor stock parts back on. Your car should run fine and without throwing codes if you put the CX ecu back in but VTEC won't engage and your rev limit will be different.
