itll start and idle, it just wont go over 2 thousand rpms, i thought tps at first but he put in a new throttle body and that didnt help.. any suggestions?

it just chokes out at 2 grand..

Arent there resistor boxes for the injectors? I dont know how relavent that would be to this case, first thing that came to mind.

I would first check the ecu(for any codes), then the rest of the ignition, because if the car will idle but not rev the only thing that could be holding the car back would be fuel,

its your fast idle control valve, replace it or clean it wit some starting fluid.

i dont think its resistor box, ive only seen too much fuel be added when the resistor box is fucked up and it causes it to flood..

as far as the fitv... we're checking it but i dont see why that valve would make it choke out after 2 thousand rpms..??

it has to be something very simple, if you have checked the intake, ignition system and reset the ecu, I know its not the fast idle valve the only problem with that is erratic idle, I know this since I have problems all the time with my fast idle valve, I have JDM b16a swap, and I have had almost every problem with that car, it may be the distributor, and that is the only thing it could or should be
