Starting Problem
I have had this consistent problem...i hope you guys can help me figure this out.
Im in MD ...which is winter now ...so i figured at first my battery was shitty or that the cold makes it harder to start...but i dont think this has much to do with the output of my battery. After the car sits over night...or long enough to fully cool down...which isnt long in the weather lately. The car will not start on its own. i have to crank the motor and rev it and hold the rpms over 2500 steady for like 4 min and then it will run on its own...and after its shut off within time it will start back up fine. and it runs fine....it warms up and no lights are on. What do you think could be the cause of this problem...its soo annoying to start my car and rev it loud for mins b4 i can go anywhere...and if i dont rev it and try to go it will shut off... i hope someone has knowledge about this
btw the car is a civic with a 2000 GSR swap...and before november the motor started and ran fine all the time/.

Re: Starting Problem (TreyGSR)
my car does sort of the same thing this time of year. it isn't constant like every day but every once in awhile it does the same thing. i don't have to hold it that far in rpms. kindof like it has a cold. i have talked to a few people and they said a valve might be ready to drop. but it is just odd that it does it only when it is cold
