starting prob

Default starting prob

well my 00 si has been sitting in the garage for about 3 and half weeks with out being started.... i turned it on today starts up fine and i let it warm up for about 20min then i come back to back it out of the garage and it back fired lil an turned off!!! i tryed to start it up again and its trying to turn over and nothing, pumped gas lil and i got a backfire...... distrubtor was changed not to long ago i was thinking mybe its spark plugs ..... any one have an idea on what it can be????

check basics: Fuel,spark,firing order,all sensors connected properly,

i doubt its the oil, but yeah might be, try reseetting your ecu then go from there is there fuel? spark etc?

yeah full tank its sparking ill try resetting ecu

resesting ecu worked car seems to be running fine i wonder why that happend any one have and idea?

No problem!...sometimes hondas just do that...it can also happen when all of a sudden stalling, its happeneed to me before
