I have a b18b1 in an eg hatch.. Ok so my starter went on me... I got another one put it on bolted it up, ground wire is on tight, the cable from battery that goes on starter is on tight. I go to turn key an it doesn't crank. It just mKes a whining noise that usually goes away when you turn key to start car. The whining noise doesn't go away but when I take the cable from the battery off it goes away... I can't get the thing cranked over. What is my issue? Fuses?

did u put the other little wire on that activates the solenoid the humming ur probably hearing is the fuel pump under the back seat

Did you check your starter signal fuse? recheck the ground/signal on the starter
