Starter problems, searched need help!!
my car takes a few clicks to start sometimes and today it took like 1000 clicks no joke, the battery is fresh and new , is it DEF the starter, i changed the dizzy two days ago too.......it just clicks, i hear my radio and fuel pump turn on , but doesnt start, its gotta be the starter, right?

your trani probably isn't grounded. But if you're convinced it's the starter, here's what you do. Disconnect solenoid wire and power wire to starter. take out 2 bolts. remove starter. Get jumper cables. connect the + on the battery to the big *** bolt you pulled the phatty wire off from. Connect the - on the battery to somewhere on the starter chassis (like the flanges the bolts go through). Then, while holding the starter FIRM, take another wire and connect + on the battery (or the jumper cable) to the little contact you pulled the small wire from. It'll likely spin and toss out of your hands (you weren't holding it firm were you?) at which point the jumper cables will pop off, find each other, and spark like a beatch as they spotweld themselves to random things around you.
I think you can take it into autozone and they'll zap themselves for you.
Then go home and check your trani ground
