starter making grinding noises
car is 00 SI
i had my flywheel resurfaced a month ago, and it ran and started fine. lately it has hard to start. the starter would make a nasty grinding noise and the motor would not turn. after about 2-3 seconds it would crank and fire up. now it just makes the nasty grinding npoise and does not start at all.

ok.. what does that have to do w/ the flywheel?.. you might wana tlak to the guys who did the flywheel about your other q about not being able to put the trans in gear
