Starter keeps cranking.... please help
Whenever I turn my alarm on, my engine cranks as if it were to start. I don't even have remote engine start on my alarm. With the keys in the ignition on "ON" position, it does the same thing. What could be the problem guys??

i have no experience
but i would suggest u to look at your 4 wires coming out of the key
ACC, ON, and so on.....
i doubt it's any HARDWARE problem, it sounds like something ELECTRICAL
did you just install the alarm yourself??
or did this cranking happen all in a sudden??
give us more details

Re: Starter keeps cranking.... please help (xbird)
The alarm was installed when i bought the car. Could it be the starter relay that's going haywire? I'm thinking of just ripping the whole thing out. It's just a plain alarm with no options, just cutoff. What wires should I be looking for to reconnect?

hmm.. it should not be the alarm problem...
check all your fuses and relays
don't disconnect the alarm yet, i don't think it's necessary
but if u don' want it, just cut all the wires, there should be nothing to reconnect
