Start fresh and new or buy old and used?
Making up your mind is a terrible thing especially when it comes down to something like this. I have this opportunity to buy a really sweet 94 si hatch with a b16 swap and lots of goodies and extras. I mean it has so much done to it and i absolutely love the way this car looks and drives. But im also thinking in the back of my head that i should just buy a stock hatch and start from new. It is such a hard decision because the car im looking at he is selling for 8k. I wish i could make up my mind but sometimes that thing nags me...my conscience thats it.... Anyhow i just dont know what to do... I think i should buy his car but then yet again i dont think i should because it wouldnt really be "my own" ya know? oh well.just needed to vent. please gimme some feed back please. thanks

if i were you i'd start from a clean slate. it will make you feel a lot better (maybe pooer) in the long run. you will be able to take pride in it and people won't be like "yeah he is driving billy bobs car" they will say "look how nice YOUR car is"

****...if i were you...buy the damn thing for 8 grand...tear it apart...keep all the parts you want...and sell the rest on ebay...make some money...sell the car...and buy a stock one
Also, I would never buy a fixed up car because you have no idea how much they ragged the car out, or what problems are with the car. If you fix up a car by yourself than you will feel so much better in the long run.
