Default stainless steel line for oil pressure gauge

hi, i saw a topic about someone selling some lines, but i couldnt find it in the search. could someone help me find who sells these things? i dont really trust the plastic tube that came with the autometer gauge. and if you say "search noob" please be kind enough to tell me what to search for, thanks

All you need is 1/8" braided steel line with male-male NPT fittings. You will also need a Male-BSPT to Female-NPT adapter because your block has a tapered thread.

i read a few days ago, not to use ss lines from home depot?? i just wanted to know where to get the correct lines. the plastic tubing i got with my guage doesnt seem to stay on very tight... i can pull it out with my hands when its screwed in. i think the "ferrule" is to large for the supplied tubing i got.

Check in the phonebook for Hose&hydraulic companies in your area, most of them can custom make you a hose or at least tell you of someone who can.

i just went to napa, and they had a VDO copper line kit. it fits perfect for my autometer gauge.

yeah thats what i think, ive sent autometer an email but they are slow to respond. one of the ferules was really snug on the tubing, but the other one was tooo large.
