Stage 3 xtd clutch for my d16y8 - break-in time?
So I bought a stage 3 xtd clutch for my d16y8 but how long should I wait to do pulls and drop the clutch. So how many miles and where should I be shifting at I'm gonna get my clutch installed in like one hour btw.

Your clutch kit should have specific info for break in.
If it's anything like Exedy, they say be gentle on it for at least 500 miles.
I usually try and be gentle for about 750 miles before I go hog wild.
Also, you might want to read the rules sticky as your post is missing all car information. For all we know you have this D16Y8 in a sand buggy. Understanding the rules will usually make your stay here a lot more fulfilling and productive.

Clutch question
So I put a new clutch on my d16y8 97 civic coupe last Saturday and I have to wait 500 miles to break it in but I've only put 100 so far but I was cruzing with my friends in the rain and I dropped my clutch like 3 times and raced once when the rain cleared a bit Ik bad Idea but what's the worst that can happen to the clutch since I didn't break it in yet it still shifts smooth and everything

So you know. Its not miles, its engagements. 500 highway miles does not equal 500 downtown LA miles. The clutch isint wearing at all when its engaged or out. You should be able to feel it change a bit as it wears in. Usually by the time you are really used to the difference between your last clutch and this one, its broken in. You DONT want to get it hot. No long slips and no aggressive starts.
