hey i have a 95 hatch and my srs light went on a few months ago. i changed the airbag and it was still on. today i put in a new cluster and the srs light went off but all the other lights still work (blinkers, open trunk glass, CEL, etc.) what else could cause this light to go off? is my srs light issue fixed? or should i go to honda and have them check it out since its a safety issue and they will look at it for free. BTW i have a boosted b18b in the HB will honda still look at it even though i changed the motor? TIA

I dont think engine would cause them not to look at it, not like its under warrany is it?
Could be by some weird coinsidence the bulb is out in the cluster.

I don't really have an answer, but I believe there is a special way to reset the SRS light (I don't believe, however, that unplugging/changing the gauge cluster is the procedure). Something to think about I suppose.

i guess ill pop the new cluster out and take a look at the bulb. thanx guys. ne other sudgestions?

search for a thread that describes how to reset your srs light. just disconnecting the battery won't do it.

i know that, im saying the light was on and now its off w/ my new cluster. im not trying to reset it im asking y the light might of gone off. but it might be the bulb...
