SRS light on! any help

Default SRS light on! any help

well i installed a ctr steering wheel on my friends 99 si, and afterwards the srs comes on when the car starts and stays on, any suggestions?

just a guess but maybe try resetting your comp. i.e. unplug the battery for 10 min

That's not a vey good guess, it wont work.

The airbag ecu may need to be reprogrammed by the dealer. I have the same problem on my car.

Ok, the procedure to clear srs codes using the MES connector is posted around here somewhere. Maybe a quick search will find it?

a dealer can clear the code if you have the time and $, but i think there is a DIY procedure, try a search.

theres hundreds of posts on here if you search. i had the same problem with my 92 si & 99 gsr. very good info and saves you a penny.
