SRS light is on.
I left my lights on all night and my battery was dead. So I got a friend to jump me and I was on my way. Only thing is that the SRS light is stuck on any clue why it is? Or how I can turn it off? Thanks.

Cool...I removed my bulb because I have an aftermarket steering wheel...so I have no airbags. Sorry I can't help.

Re: (gabebauman)
looks like I might have to remove the bulb. I'll try to reset the battery first if that doesn't work who knows I might remove the bulb.
I read other forums saying means srs failed and all this crap and it's 500-800$ to fix screw a bunch of that for a 10 year old car.

i had an airbag light when i pulled my airbag off, and then turned the ignition on, the computer senses sometings wrong and then the airbags will not deploy like there supposed to. i did a manual reset of the airbag circuitwhich required a jumper wire and too people, i found the information on ALLDATA , yes, yes i know this program almost never has the right info, but it did for this and it worked, i would explain how to do it put i can't find the paperwork that i printed off to do it
if you know someone who works at an automotive shop they "should" have access to information like this
good luck

I know on civics 96+ there was a factory recall for that happening. I had the same problem on my 4 door. Eventually I just replace the factory one with a sparco wheel and said screw the light

This happen to me before in my del sol. I disconnected the battery for a couple of hours but the light stayed on. As long as the light is on, the airbags are disabled and will not activate in an accident. My solution was me going to the dealer and paying a hours worth of labor ($76) for the to turn if off.
