SRS diag codes
I have read how to reset the light via:
https://honda-tech.com/zero...&page=
but, the pics don't relate to my 97 civic.
I found a yellow connector above the fuse block that has 2 wires. Is anybody sure that it is the right one? It comes from a split loom that has yellow tape on the ends.
I did bring it into the dealer, but they want $650 to replace the srs control unit. I thought I'd try resetting the light first, to see if that works.
The dealer reported that the srs had codes of 7-1 and 7-2. Anyone know what that means?
Thanks,
Steve

So, I tried the reset thingy. ANyone have this happen:
Short out the connector, turn on ignition. SRS light stays lit, will not go off.
Does that mean that the whole thing is fried?
Thanks, Steve
