SRR : Sway bar, Tie Bar, Lower Controll Arm Installation Outcome!
On friday I posted a topic asking for help on installing SRR : Sway bar, Tie Bar, Lower Controll Arm before I do it. So here is some info I picked up for the next guy that is goin with this setup:
Clearance: Make sure you have enough cleareance on by your exhaust, because you will need some room for the sway bar. I had to get my muffler rewelded back on today because of it.
New Studs: Mine did not come up new bolts for the tie bar and the OEM one is a bit short about 5 thread. There are two botls on each side to hold the tie bar and two in the middle. I am talking about the two in the middle, with the tie bar on it is too short with all the bushing.
Lastly if possible get an air gun it would make the job alot alot alot easier. And lastly one of those plastic head hammer so you can knock those Lower controller Arm into place. If you ain't got one, wrap a hammer tightly with some cloths and tapes.
It took me about 3 hours to do it, and thats because I did not know anything and had that cleareances issue which I had to muscle it in. Now that everything is in place, my EK handle like an Animal. It feels very tight in the back and I feel like I can make sharper turns. I hit an on ramp and off ramp going at 90-100mph and it feel like I was turning at 60-70. If you got 400 dollar to burn on suspension, do this upgrade. or even 200 for the tie/sway combo our do the trick. The lower controll arm just give you that looks.
P.S. : Thanks to Perpetual Concepts again for the kick *** setup with kick *** prices for 405 shipped. Oh and SRR is not JDM a product, it is a CDM product to be politically correct because it is made in Taiwan.

Ehh, be careful, man. But congrats on the RASB/TB combo. I agree; a rear anti-sway bar is one of the best suspension mods for the money. Have fun w/ yours.
