squeeling noise... coming from wheel area

i recently got my brakes unwarped on a lathe and ever since i have had this weird squeeling noise coming from the driver side area. im pretty sure its metal on metal rubbing but i can't figure it out. It only starts making the noise while im moving. I first thought that it was the brakes dust sheild that was bent and rubbing on the brake rotor. so i fixed it and it continues. Any idea's of what this could be??

thanks alot

i would try some brake clean to see if it solves the problem

just spray it on the rotor?

yes, just read the directions on it. And dont go flying around after you spray it...make sure you take it around the block very slow to get it working good. You dont want your shit to not work and then die! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif

sounds good,

just pisses me off that i pay for this guy a decnt amount of money to fix the warp in the rotors, (and putting a brake rotor on a lathe is simple shit, if i was still in school i would have done it myself for free)

and then when get my car back i end up getting an even more anoying problem, just makes me mad thats all https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

Dumb question but did u apply that gobe crap when you replaced your braks? it really helps stop that rattling noise while driving. U might just have to give it a while for the brakes to wear in, ther could be a high spot on the pad and thats what you hear. After a bit of driving it will rub it self out and should go away.....

get some disc brake quiet and apply it to the back of the pad. did you replace the pads?

as far as for the person who is getting a noise in the rear and thinks the piston is stuck, jack up that tire and see how freely you can spin that tire with the ebrake down.

if it is sticking you will not be able to spin that tire, also inspect the pads, if they are alot more worn out than the opposite side, then your proabbly having problems with the caliper.
