Squeeking/Creeking noise in the drivers front
At lower speeds i can hear it making a squeeking/creeking noise in the drivers front. If i turn the wheel back and forth it also makes that noise. I got out of my car and pushed down directly on the drivers fender a few times and it makes the noise. It obviously sounds like something in my suspension so what should i check out? It's a 2000 ex coupe with 148k on it with stock suspension.

probably too dry. i'm not a great tech or what not. but in my friends accord, he has pretty old shocks and springs, when they depress they squeek but after its wet like a car wash or rainy day it sounds ok. probably old or not lubed, my guess

First thing I'd check is the bushings. They're probably all shot. Then shock mounts, then the suspension components themselves. How bad is it? It could be a lot of work to take care of...

the car has had all 4 wheel bearings and all 4 struts and the front lower ball joints done. I hear the noise constantly at lower speeds and when i turn the wheel.

get a can of spray lube and soak it all down in there. :D 148k is a long time to have the same suspension. ive heard your suppossed to replace struts every year

I have the same problem sort of and I have tokico blue shocks the winter drive made them shot. But it's either dry ball joints or your struts are shot. Better of getting new strut. Theres a bushings or bearing or cushion on the strut that makes that noise

Hey just wondering if you ever figured out what the problem was? Same exact thing happens with my car. First thought it might be the shocks but they have been replaced and still does it. Has not made any noise all winter, now that its starting to warm up I hear it again. I have been told the ball joints but not sure.

It was a lower ball joint. All the grease leaked out and it was really stiff to move the joint around. I replaced both sides myself.
