be a rough ride the spring rate is not far from factory in my 97 HX but I would like to have a near to stock ride. I would really like to stay away from big money mainly because the car has 200,000 miles on it and im just looking for a little bit of a meaner stance

garbage bullshit cheap springs. no, your 200k struts will blow. dont cheap out on your suspension, it is a very important safety aspect of your car. at least get new oem/oem style struts and some kind of brand name spring, or just dont do it.

Stock shocks are meant to be used at the stock ride height. That's why it's STOCK!! Even if you got OEM replacement shocks the FIRST nasty pothole will blow them. I know this for a fact because it's happened to me. TWICE. Now that I know better I can tell you people to stop buying this sub-standard bargain-basement-unbranded, no-name knockoff bullshit.

And another thing. This garbage about how the car isn't worth putting money into because it's old or you didn't pay enough for it to rationalize he cost. That's bullshit too. If you didn't want to have the hassle of fixing up your car you should have bought a new one with a warranty.

The ones who say something like that are just trying to justify themselves for purchasing cheap items, thats all.
