Default Springs/Shocks Or Full Coil Overs?

On my last EG I had Neuspeed race springs and like the ride till my stock shocks blew. Too poor to buy new ones at the time.
However I wanted JIC FLT-A2s for the longest time after riding in a car with them.

So I want your opinions. I'm a poor broke *** college student but I want to the best stuff I can afford on my car.

Most on here will tell you that the koni/ground control setup is the best bang for the buck. That setup can be had for around $800 or so. Or you could go a little cheaper and get the ground control's with kyb agx shocks for around $600. Or you could go mad jdm flava and get some teins or another threaded shock. There are lots of possibilities. Just search around a bit and read.

I don't understand what the question is?

If you're poor, you can't afford either.

Get a stock suspension setup for like 50 bucks.

Well I'm not exactly poor. I make money but not enough to buy full coil overs with one pay check. I'd have to save for a tiny bit.

i just got shitty *** ebay dropzone coilovers with kyb agx's, setup costs me 400 bucks, and believe it or not it is nice, not the best obviously, but cause the shocks are adjustable it kinda compensates for the cheap *** springs. plus this setup is good until you can get a real setup from a lot of savings.

i never understand this ****. why not save the 400 dollars instead of throwing it away?

any ways from what this guy is saying i think he wants more out of his suspension then a great ride. and if not then what the hell are you looking at the FLA2 for?

but i say save up and go with what you like. i have heard alot of good things about the JIC coilover. and alot of the ITR guys purchased them. so what tell after the expo and see what they all think of there setups after they get out on a track.

Well, I had Koni/Skunk2 on my Sol and I hated it. Typical rice boy bouncy as $hit! I just got my new Tanabe SO-C type 2 coilovers and they are so much nicer AND CHEAPER!!!! Options has em for like $750!!! Or else, get Tein basics! Real coilovers are soo much better than any strut with a coilover sleeve!

OR, on my last Sol I had cheap a$$ eBay struts ($125ish for a set!!!) w/maxspeed springs and they rode really nice and gave it a good look for like $250!!! Just my $.02...

don't make worng stupid comments like that. koni yellow's with a set of GC coil over and some higher spring rates will walk all over tein SS, tein basic's, and any other non adj full coil over out there.

Tein SS. Ya, they have shitty *** spring rates, but it's a good set up for just street driving. I like mine a lot.

depends on what you bought it for....the only reason he is knocking it is because of the stiff ride

Precisely, thanks for the back-up EH2, I guess I need to be more specific in my comments so that some people's diapers don't get ruffled...
