Default Springs: ITR's, Eibach Sportlines, or H&R's

Hey Everyone,

Alright this is the deal. I hate suspension cause im NEVER HAPPY with it. I have a 2000 SI and I switched from stock springs w/ stock shocks to some Intrax springs w/ stock shocks. I hated the ride and it didnt look too good so I decided to get new springs, I went from the Intrax w/ stock shocks to some Generic Ground Controls w/ Tokico Illuminas. I love the way it looks, but it rides like totaly ****. So Here is my quesition should i do ITR's w/ illuminas, Eibach sportlines w/ illuminas, or H&R w/ illuminas? Has anyone had any experience with these setups at all? I am mainly looking for a good ride but i also need the front to fit 225/50/16 and I dont want the back all jacked up like a Domestic

Thanks in Advance and if you guys have any pics of these setups, please show me thx again.

I never herd good things about Tokicos, why not KYB? I have had my KYB AGXs for almost a year and a half and have had no problems.

As far as springs, Eibach and H&R are =

here is a suggestion get some really good shocks with some springs. like koni yellow with some eibach sportlines. that way you will be able to mess with the damping and get a better smother ride. dampers have alot to do with how your car rides and handels, just like springs, its just most of the people don't know that.

I had sportlines on my SI and really liked them. Rode super smooth, nice and low, and handled well

I had the H&R springs on my '96 coupe, and I liked them. By far my favorite springs that I have ever used. I had some Intrax springs on my RX7 and I hated them. Horrible ride and not stiff enough somehow. Anyway, my vote is for H&R.

Although I like my Illuminas/Sportlines, I wouldn't mind it being lower.

Edit: The Illumina/Sportline on the softest setting feels like stock....if I remember correctly. I've been on the "feel every bump in the road" setting forever.

Do you have any pics of it? What setting do you have it at when you feel every bump in the road?

Yeah, you ishy ride may be from the shocks as well. I have the Eibach / KYB combo, and everyone compliments on the perfect balance of ride / performance and looks. Mostly they just say my car rides awesome, and I'm very happy with the set.

well, the Sportlines and the illuminas are on it right now. I kinda like the ride, but may switch to the H&R's.
