Default spring rate question

in your opinion which spring rates would be best for streetability and autocross. im looking for a not too harsh setup. i have ridden in a car with 550/450 and that was very rough. which combo do you think is the best? thanks ahead for the replys.

Basically, to get the car to rotate slightly in turns. It brings the *** end around a little bit. A lot of guys/gals run slightly higher pressure in their rear tires also.

So why do you recommend lower spring rates in the rear?
