Re: Spoon Sports N1 (USDMDC2)
i have the spoon axleback n1 muffler on my EK dx.with stock piping and stock header. the sound is great . no fart sound .would sound even better if u have dohc vtec...if u get that dc header and high flow cat u might wanna get the n1 silencer! it will get louder but yet not sound like a weed whacker
as far as the piping i would go 2 1/4 " NA

Re: Spoon Sports N1 (BURT REYNOLDS)
i ordered one for my 92 hb. i ordered it like a month ago form IPS racing and i still havent got it yet. i got a good deal on it but im mad that i havnt got it yet. i have called them like a few times a day to get a tracking # but no one anwsers the phone. my buddy has an n1 on his 99 ex and his sounds awesome. i think it bolted right up too. i heard that it will bolt up to my car too.

Re: Spoon Sports N1 (bdicustoms)
i'm thinking about going the same route as many of you.. oem b-pipe + spoon n1. however, on the ips site, I also saw the Type One Ti axle back. Has anyone gone that route? Also, is the oem vs T1R b-pipe that much of a performance loss? Like people have said in other posts, T1R b-pipe is pricey.

I have the spoon hooked up to my stock B-pipe. It doesn't sound like *** at all, although I do have DC headers. With your set up, it would sound nice. I'm very happy with mines.

Re: Spoon Sports N1 (kozzy)
I have the spoon n1, T1R b-pipe, and Greddy header on my hatch and it sounds great. There is a pretty big bifference when using the stock b-pipe with the spoon n1 vs. T1R b-pipe and spoon n1. I also have the silencer to go with it though i've only used it once but it does a nice job. I've had it on my car for 3 or 4 months and it's forsale if anyone is interested.

Re: Spoon Sports N1 (mantic6t9)
You're selling the hatch?? noooooooo Is it a great difference with the T1R b-pipe? Or does the car feel smoother. I'm planning on getting the t1r pipe later on this year, but I'm guessing it'll make the exhaust louder than what it is already. I too run with the silencer.

So what do you all think i should get??
i also have a Ractive CAI....
What is b pipe and test pipe and that stuff??
Will i gain HP with an axle back exhaust or should i just get the apexi n1 full cat?
How much do you think i will pay for the b pipe and spoon n1??
