Spoon Sports.
I know alot about Spoon Sports, but I was wondering when you order an engine block from them does it include everything, or will I need to buy other parts? Also does Spoon tune engines is you send one in?

Apparently you are a little misguided. Unless you plan on doing high RPM road racing, Spoon is a waste of money. I'll be nice about it. I suggest using your money in another way.

Re: Spoon Sports. (Ricey McRicerton)
Thanks for the info. I might do this a couple years down the road when I have something nicer but for now I will stick with the Type-R engine swap I was originally considering.

That R swap will walk all over a "Spoon prepared motor" on the street. Just so you know.
EDIT: Spoon = overpriced junk IMHO.

Spoon engines are built for endurance races. If that's where you are heading, ya why not. But if you just want it for bling, well, I wouldn't say no as long as you can afford it (not saying you can't, though).
All and all, I think stock engine will do well for your day to day use. And I think the engine comes with internals ready.

Re: (REVHARD_EF)
Ricey McRicerton - "That R swap will walk all over a "Spoon prepared motor" on the street. Just so you know." that's just plain retarded. a spoon prepped motor IS an R motor, just balanced/blueprinted, etc. it doesn't have any less power than that R swap he was planning on getting. if both were stock, they'd run neck and neck. as for buying one, Ricey McRicerton is right about it being for high-rpm racing. (that's why the motor is balanced like it is). spoon only shoves their head gasket in there (that's the only spoon part on the assembly). you'd have to buy the tranny, IM, header, etc. etc. anyway, unless you're really racing, get an R swap and hook it up!!
