Default Spoon N-1 exhaust???

I have a DC Sports full catback on my 00 Civic Si, I tired at looking at the huge tip on the back of the bastard. I was wondering if I could leave the DC Sports B-pipe and mount up the axle back Spoon sports N-1? Any info would help, thanks in advance...

Seems like it'd be cheaper to chop off the tip or weld on a smaller one than pay $350 or whatever the crazy price is for the Spoon axle-back..
