Re: Spoon Lower Tie Bar (RICErocket03)
Just makes the rear feel more responsive I would not waste the money on it just get a good rear sway bar and it will do more for you. Go with a Progress rear swaybar it does wonders

chassis needs to flex alittle that's why spoon, neuspeed, and skunk2 have moving pivots at the brackets of the bar.benen is just for looks, has it really been track tested? how come they don't make a front strut bar?

Re: Spoon Lower Tie Bar (DxHatchback)
Strut bars are supposed to give your car a little more rigidity for high speed corners but should still be able to flex a little. Spoon, Mugen, Benen, & Cusco all make good products from what I hear. I have a neuspeed and it has served me well for over 2 years. Cost me $75

Spoon lower tie bar bends I have already seen 2 that have bent pieces of ****!
i think i would rather have that bend then to rip up your subframe.by any chance did it happen while hard cornering and hitting potholes on the road?i've hard of rear swaybars ripping out of subframe.i've heard of koni sport shocks ripping out of shock towers.we're not on the track, street roads are very different.anything goes.

whats the deal with benen? someone told me their shipping is slow. what if i just ordered some tow hooks and a radiator support? how long would that take them to ship to me in PA? i guess it takes forever with the CF because they have to make it.
