I have a 99 si with an internally stock b16a2 and i have a dc 4-2-1 header an aem cold air a hollowed out cat im putting a greddy evo exhaust on it in a week or two and i was going to put a new ecu in next. i was thinking of a p28 spoon ecu but i was wondering whether or not this would be a good investment or if i should do something else first? thanks

not in that order. no sence in getting tuned and then doing the mods... get tuned afterwards... or a base tune in the begining

I personally would not step up to that huge intake manifold and throttle body with a stock motor and bolt ons. Also, I would not spend money on a "Spoon" ecu. A set of ITR/CTR cams would be a good next step in finding a bit more power, and because they're mild enough, you can keep them in there when you start boosting. A Hondata is a great tool for minor upgrades, and leaves room for tuning when you start getting really serious with boost.

It's a good idea to upgrade to the ITR springs/retainers, although I ran ITR cams on a stock B16 head for a long time in my old car. It's better to be safe than sorry.

This guy prolly has teh right idead. the performerx isnt that big, the VictorX is the big one...its alot lilke the skunk2 mani, but I think it has better numbers.

fpr & gauge
i gained 21whp by putting it on the dyno and just playing with the fuel pressure.
base line run (on mustang Dyno) 119 hp and an afr of around 11.2:1
five runs and about twenty minutes later 140.3
and a nice average afr of 13.5:1
