speedometer rolled over
i was testing out my car (95 civic dx) yesterday and i had the speed limiter disabled. i turned the needle past 130 mph or what ever the top is and the needle got stuck on the other side of that little pin it rests on when at 0 mph. well anyways my question is how the hell do you fix this with out breaking needle? is the needle turned off a poteniometer or stepper motor???

haha hope you didnt **** up your speedo that it doesnt read right anymore.
Anyway its an easy fix, my dumbass friend had a broken RPM gauge because of the same thing and he didnt know what was wrong. Simpley take the screen off and pick up the needle (carefully) and help it get loose. Then it should go straight to 0. HTH

I hope he did. There is no reason to go that fast on the streets....EVER.
And yes, remove the cluster screen (clear plastic part) and swing the needle back over.

Re: (itr_eg)
ya i didnt think there was any way in hell it would go that fast either but it did. i thought tops it would do 137 or something like that. i used uberdata and bumped up my rev limit to 8500 rpm, and i have a cx final drive. and 195/55/15vr potenza s-03 pole position tires. i swear after about 120 mph the car felt like it was going to fall apart. after what i guess was about 140, it just got real smooth until i hit the rev limiter, then that was it, i slowed down after that. all my modifications i have done are on my garage page... too many to list here. i have a video of the run, but i dont know how the **** to post it on here. i dont know how to post pics on my garage, if anyone can tell me how.
