speedometer rising with engine RPM
93CX with a B18C1 has a problem with the speedo rising with RPM. Its really bad - at idle it reads about 10mph and as I rev it up to about 3 is reads about 40mph. There are no mechanical problems, its electronic. Engine runs fine and car drives fine. It didnt have the problem with the stock D series, only after the swap.
I tried different clusters and messed with all the wiring and I cannot seem to find anything wrong. The original non tach cluster does the same thing. I tried separating the wires in the harness to minimize interference. Has anybody else had this problem? Please post some possible causes! thanks!
EDIT 3-2: I messed with wiring / fuses and grounds and somehow fixed it. I had a TPS issue I also fixed, i heard its possible that it was related somehow.

i pulled all the fuses and checked them, and looked around at the wiring behind the cluster. i pulled the vss plug and made sure it has power and ground. i plugged everything back in and it went away! i fixed it but i dont know how.

fresh swap?... its an axle popped out, check 'em and make sure they're all the way in... also make sure it is in neutral when u rev.

Re: (2wheelhunter)
hmmm i still think you should check your axles... because if it is in nuetral then it will fix the problem but as soon as it goes back into gear it will happen again.. plus the car wont go anywhere.. lol do it for me so i can rest-assured
perhaps i'm wrong i give u permission to flame my ***

Re: speedometer rising with engine RPM
there was NO mechanical problems with anything, only the interference in the wiring between the tach and speedo! im assuming it was the vss ground. the car ran and drove fine.
