Speedometer does not work

Speedometer does not work
Ok i've got a 00' DX, I put a 99 EX motor in it because the old one blew out. With the swap I had to swap ECUs and now my speedometer/tripometer/odometer. I used the same tranny so I would think the speed sensor would still be good. What needs to be checked and how can I check it. The 99 i pulled the motor from was wrecked and my SRS light is on....I dont know how this could cause a problem but if it helps let me know. Also I have an extra plug on my harness next to the ECU but the ECU/Harness are from the same car and thats how it was hooked up before.

If you just installed it and now its not working, check your harness plugs to the speed sensor and espeacially the always for gotten ground(the little nipple coming out of the left side of the head under the dist.) should have a single wire plug for it

On the left side of the head near the dist. theres a small little nipple that sticks out,
you have to plug in the single wire plug that goes to it
EDIT: put some thought in to it and I dont think your car would even start if the ground was off.
