speedo stopped working---- free miles!
today i was driving and i noticed that my speedo was jumping around and when i was stopped it was saying i was oging like 20 or so and the odo was going up, so as soon as i got home i looked under the hood and found that my speedometer sensor was wet and halfway unclipped so i blew some air on it and drove, it worked as normal. but i got to thinking what if i unplug it? i did it and when i drove it didnt put miles on the car... its ghetto but i dont recomend doing this.

Does your car have VTEC? If so disabling the vehicle speed sensor or having a faulty one also disables VTEC.

something to think about !
your speed sensor (VSS) sends a signal to the ecu and its connected to the way your fuel injectors spit under load.
So free miles or injector Duty?
