speedo problem.... help me honda experts
ok i bought this 94 accord ex just for the purpose of fixing up and selling, had a few problems, ive put in a new main relay, radiator, etc. odds and ends but thats besides the point, the last thing im trying to fix is the speedo doesnt work, sometimes it will work for maybe a minute or so then it will stop working again, and go back to zero, it seems like on the highway it seems to always work as well? I had an h22 speed sensor in my garage that I know was working, but upon removing the speedo sensor from the accord, I noticed the h22 one didnt fit. So i just switched the top black part (which I believe is the actual sensor?) this still didnt help fix the problem. What else could this be? do I need to swap out the whole spindle piece? let me know
thanks in advance for any help

If it isn't a ground/wiring problem, I would start off with a new VSS. If that doesn't work I would suggest a new speedometer.
