Re: Specs on my motor... (Turbo E)
shhh... . actually the title says exactly what the post has in it.So...it can work in both forums. IS the motor not up to par? Damn! I knew I should have bought an AEM intake instead of those cams.

Re: Specs on my motor... (Chris y0!)
actually it is a duplicate of a motor that made 201whp and a second one that made 198 whp. Omni while at Skunk2, also built quite a few similar motors that were in the 205-210 range. U could probably find a dyno of one these motors on the club si forum. Its funny, while no one that posted on his thread last year(I think it was last year?) knew who he was, they had no problem trying to disprove his dyno sheets. I'd post dyno sheets but the whole area 51 going under thing...and by the way don't take life so seriously. This is still a message board right? For a minute there I thought I sneezed in church or something

Re: Specs on my motor... (****@A51)
you are talking about 60+ extra wheel hp made on a stock, used, old b16 block, just from head work. am i the only one that finds this hard to beleive?

What do mean believe? Are u a resonance and fluid displacemt scientist that can disprove through engine theory or are u just another super street certified engine builder. LOok this has been proven years ago by real engine builders not I think I can...I think I can...I think I can...mentallity that usually occurs on this board. I remember when we did the k20 swap in the ek. People like u thought it was a photo shop. Grow up!

looks like a awesome setup ...and I would be sure it would make one hell of a track engine for someone on a lower budget in H1

Re: Specs on my motor... (Chris y0!)
well with head milled .30 and i'm assuming he's using a 1 or 2 layer HG rather than the oem 3 layer, and with that combo of valvetrain, i'd put my money on some high HP numbers, and very close to the 200hp range
of course the torque curve will be nasty due to the stock bore/stroke, but i wouldnt doubt this is a high horsepower motor Chris y0!

i'm with you on that. I can see if with head work and june he made about 185whp but that about max on a stock block. My tech guy has a Jun setup B16a3 in his delsol with the Jun stroker kit and he only made 215whp with a built mild head(not 3angle job)
