Specific questions: Searched: Pics: integra dash
that is there middle of my civic with no dash in. the vent holes do not match up with the integra dash vent holes. was I sposted to take the integra vent peice (civic one showed in pic) out from the integra and put it in my civic? or do i just have to modify this one... if so.. how?
do you use the integra or civic side mounting brackets? in the picture I have the integra one in that site. The bottum does not bolt on to anything on the frame. On the driver's side, the integra one does not go in because there is a bar is the way. So i'm thinking i just use the civic ones and drill a hole in them so i can bolt the integra dash in on the side?
i can't think of anymore questions at this time.. if i get more i'll add more.
help quick... driving around dashless sucks =[

Re: Specific questions: Searched: Pics: integra dash (gezer)
that bar. on the driver side. if i bolt the triangle to the frame at the top hole on the triangle peice... the part that sticks out to connect to the fuse box hits that bar.. preventing it from going in straight. if i move the triangle down and connect it to the fuse box... the top has nowhere to connect to. so can i just use the civic mounting triangles?
on the passenger side (first post pic), if i use the integ triangles, it only bolts down on the top.. bottum has no connections. i hope i can use the civic ones..

vents as in that big vent box in the middle... or the ones that stick out and you can move? people allways said to get the HEATER CORE out of the integra. is that vent box the heater core? i told a guy at the junk yard i wanted an integra heater core and he gave me this big brass rectagle with 2 pipes that i havent found a use for yet..

ok, the dash swap is NOT as hard as some make it seem, although it is a time-consuming project...
ok.....as for the vents, YOU NEED the a/c center vent outlet from an integra....the civic vent outlet is pretty tough to get out, but with some wiggle/cutting action, it pops right out with 4 screws and 3 clips...
as for the brackets, YOU CAN USE THE CIVIC BRACKETS!! you just need to look at the INNER plastic from the integra dash.....that plastic must be cut to clear the civic's brackets (just eyeball everything, test fit, cut, test fit, cut), and it will bolt right in, and the holes line right up!
as for the driver side frame bar, that stays in....you have to CUT the inner plastic of the integra's cluster housing.....there is ALOT of plastic in the back of the guage cluster, and most of it will be trimmed out....not too hard, just time consuming...
that should cover it....lmk if you need anything else....late

yeah, the part you need is the heater core for the integra. It will bolt right in the same way the civic one was but with the proper vents. I used the fan blower from the integra too, not sure if it is any better but it blows really good for me. Maybe my old civic one was just getting weak.
It is kinda a pain to get the old civic core out since it probably hasn't been touched since the car was made, same way mine was but with some coaxing it will come out. You are going to leak out a lot of coolant so be sure to have something there to catch it with and have extra coolant to add when you are done and everything is hooked up again.
You can find a ton more info in the link that's in my sig if you haven't seen it already.
Good luck
