speaker sizes in EKs

Default speaker sizes in EKs

i've been searching around, and i can't find the speaker sizes for the front and rear speakers for my 97 hatch. anyone know? (i think they're 6.5)

fronts are 6.5 and believe same for hatches in rear and coupes are 6 x 9s in rear.

6.5 in front and 6x9's in the back of my coupe.

also go to best buy and look at thier customer computer they have an application chart on the computer or pick up a crutchfield.

Crutchfield has a wizard..

my 98 EK hatch has 6.5 front and 6x9 rears... but i have an adapter plate to fit my 6.5s though.

Yep. 6.5s in the front and 6x9s in the back. I have the same car as you do.

do you know if 94+ integra speakers are interchangeable? I have all of them but not sure if they will work

94+ teggy speakers are all 6.5s. But yes, you can make them fit.

Charlie,

You'll need an adapter plate either from SoundDomain.com or crutchfield to make the 6.5's work properly in the rear. That's what I have.

I have a 1992 civic lx 4 door
which speakers off the 94+ gsr coupe can i use? They are still all good so i just want to install them if i can.
do you work at a alarm,radio install shop or somthing? LOL

integras have 6.5 in the front and rear your car has 6.5 front and 6x9 rear. So you can only use two of the four speakers unless you make or buy an adapter plate for the rear.

Anytime. You can just pull the grilles off of the front and there will be 3 screws holding the speaker in. For the back there are three or four screws. 3 on the top and one on the inside where the seat reaches the rear speaker cover. Pop that cover off and there will be 4 screws holding the speakers in. I had to use an offset screwdriver to get the rear outside screws out too!

yea so i went to Besy Buy last night to buy speakers to put in... and guess how much i spent? i spent only $47.23 on a set of front 6.5s and rear 6x9s. what a deal. and they sound awesome blasting fear factory \m/ now all i have to do is put my sub in!
